Kim Cattrall

 

Kim Victoria Cattrall was born 21 August 1956. She is a British actor and actress, as well as a Canadian actor. Her character in the role of Samantha Jones in HBO's Sex and the City (1998-04) is the most well-known of her roles. She was awarded five Emmy Award nominations and four Golden Globe Award nominees. In 2002, she won the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress. The role was reprised in the films Sex and the City (2008) and Sex and the City 2 (2010). There were several times she worked with director Bob Clark, appearing in four of his films: Tribute (1980), Porky's (1981), Turk 182 (1985), and Baby Geniuses (1999). Her film credits also include The Bonfire of the Vanities (90) and Star Trek VI The Undiscovered Country(91) as well as Split Second(92), Above Suspicion (1995) as well as 15 Minutes (2001), Crossroads(2002), Ice Princess (2006), My Boy Jack (2007).
