Markie Post

Markie Post grew up in Walnut Creek, California and started her career on films and TV shows like Card Sharks (1978) and "The New Card Sharks" (1986) and later on make such shows as Double Dare (1976) and appeared on such TV shows such like 1st to Die (2003), E! True Hollywood Story (1996) and Electra Woman (2000). Perhaps her most famous TV role was as "Christine Sullivan" on Night Court (1984). From 1984 to 1992 she was featured in 156 episodes. Marylee (Armstrong) Post is her daughter. She was a poet and noted nuclear physical scientist Richard Freeman Post (November 14 1918 until April 7 15th, 2015). Had two daughters with her second husband Michael A. Ross: Katie Ross (born June 26 in 1987) and Daisy Ross (born March 30 and died on March 30, 1990). was born in Palo Alto, California, and grew up in Walnut Creek, California. As an athlete, she was a part of Las Lomas High School located in Walnut Creek. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts at Lewis & Clark College, Portland Oregon. She was part of the trick roping team in The Wildest West Show of the Stars (1986). She was cremated , and her ashes returned to Michael A. Ross. She was a lifelong Democrat. Markie Post died three months following her 71st Birthday, August 7 2021. She passed away 27 days following Charles Robinson, her Night Court (1984), co-star, who died on the 11th of July, 2021. While they were totally distinct shows, Night Court (1984), in which she was a co-star the role of Christine Sullivan leaving for Washington DC.
