Abbie Cornish is an Australian actress. She began modeling when she was 13 years old and her first acting job came when she was 15 years old. Following her modeling career, she was able to be seen in many films and television programs. Cornish is most famous for her performances in historical films  like 'Elizabeth: The Golden Age,' the courtier Bess Tharockmorton as well as the heroin addict in Candy. She was also in the role of Lindy in the sci-fi thriller 'Limitless' and Fanny Brawne as Fanny Brawne's character in the biopic "Bright Star.. The roles she has played on television include 'Outriders" as well as Marking Time'. Cornish is a singer and rapper who has performed since the year 2000 under the stage name MC Dusk. Born in New South Wales and raised with three brothers and a sister, she had a decent childhood until her parents divorced at the age of 16. Abbie is an incredibly strong woman who was able to get over the heartbreaking divorce of her parents. The Australian beauty is a talented musician and pianist, however, she is a performer more than anything else. Cornish is a strict vegan who is a staunch advocate for animal rights. Cornish occasionally also contributes to animal rights organisations. Abbie Cornish was born on August 7, 1982 in Lochinvar, New South Wales, Australia. She is the second daughter of Barry Cornish and Shelley Cornish. Isabelle Corish is her older sister and she is an actress. Coming to the romance life of the actress, she was once engaged to actor Ryan Phillippe who she dated from 2006 to 2010.
