2 Chainz Biography

Tauheed Epps also goes by the name 2 Chainz. He is an American rapper. He is an Georgia native, and formed the hip-hop duo Playaz Circle with a friend from high school. Their first album, 'Supply & Demand', was a modest success. Epps released the album 'Based on the T.R.U. Story', his debut studio album. It debuted at the top of the US Billboard 200, it was a huge success. It was an enormous success and sold 147,000 copies within its first week! He hasn't been back from the album's release and has since risen to become one of the most admired American rappers. He's been nominated for six Grammy Awards so far. One of them was awarded to him for his song "No Problem". He kindled controversy in 2013, after being detained on a flight departing from the Los Angeles International Airport as his luggage contained marijuana and promethazine. However, his run-in with the law hasn't affected his popularity. The latest album of his studiocalled 'Pretty Girls Like Trap Music was released in June 2017. Based on the T.R.U. Story', 2 Chainz's first studio album is his first major record and his most commercially successful. The album was an enormous success and climbed to the top spot in the US Billboard 200. In only one week, it sold 147,000 copies. In the course of the year, it eventually sold more than 623,000 copies. The album, with hit singles such as 'No Lie", 'Birthday Song', and'I'm Different' was also nominated for  the 'Best Rap Album' at the 55th Grammy Awards. Most reviews were mixed. 2 Chainz wed Kesha Ward in 2013. The couple is the proud parents of three children, Heavenly, Harmony, Halo. He has a very successful career, but the man is also famous for his mistakes with the law. Multiple times he has been detained for possession of drugs.
